Which handheld device should I get?

I am looking to get a handheld device within the next 6 mo. that is not a phone. I would like it to be under 300, but can go a little over if needed for a great device. Have considered Nook color, Ipod Touch (seems good, but I dislike apple), various archos products, nokia N810, various netbooks, and nintendo DSi. I prefer to not have to root or jailbreak whatever I buy, but I would like some freedom on the device to do as I want.

Top priority would be a decent web browser over wifi. Flash support would be nice. Pandora would be nice. Ability to play online flash games would be awesome, but not needed.

Next would be the ability to play games such as chess, checkers, connect 4, go, and reversi against computer AI.

Next would be the ability to view and read pfd's decently. Txt and epub would be nice as well.

Better games, mp3 player, movie playing are all neat but not vital.

I don't care about a camera.Which handheld device should I get?
