My boyfriend broke up and asked for me back in one night?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. Nothings perfect, but things have been good, hes a great guy and we compliment each other really well. We had some communication issues since were both so busy awhile ago, talked it out, and everything seemed great. He has trouble showing his emotions and saying things like I Love You. He's admitted to this. Out of nowhere, today he showed up and my house and just blurted out that we needed to break up. He said that he can't give me what I need, that he takes me for granted, and that his schedule is only going to get busier for a period of time. He cried the whole time, and said that we've gotten so serious and it sounded like he's a little freaked out about it.



I told him as much as I'd want him to be happy he'd never find anyone like me, that I know were both busy, and laid out exactly what I need in termsof communication. I told him yes, I'm looking for someone I can have a future with but m t looking to be married with kids tomorrow. I said I was truly surprised as we had talked during the da and effecting seemed fine...what had changed in a matter of hours? Apparently he was so upset thinking about it on the way home from work that he literally threw up.



I braced myself and he just kept wanting to talk. Let's talk aboutit, he said. After about three hours of talking, he started saying he really didn't want to leave, didt want to say goodbye, and wanted to and could give me what I needed. Said he knew tha if he walked out the door it would be over and he didn't want that, that he actually felt so much better after we talked. He admitted he's a bit dysfunctional and immature when it comes to saying what he feels...for example, he was truly shocked when. Told him that we don't have to see each other every day, tha I don't want to see him every day!



He begged me to stay and talked for another two hours before going to bed. I flat out asked if he didn't want to leave because he wanted to be with me, or if he just didn't want to leave so e wouldn't have to deal wit how he felt after. He said he wants to be with me.
