Excuse to spend night with girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I are 18. We're both living with our parents, about to leave for college in August. Later this month, she is house sitting for a family she knows, and will be spending about 6 or 7 nights in their house alone. I would love to go spend a night with her, and she would too, but my parents won't approve that. They assume we'll have sex. (We won't.) What excuse can I give for not being home one night, other than "I'm spending the night at a friends house"?Excuse to spend night with girlfriend?You could say you are going ANYWHERE else.



as a parent I fear this question but as a lover I recognize that you are an adult and you deserve your time with her. You may want to try and reason with your parents if you really aren't going to do anything they wouldn't approve of than maybe you ought to try and tell them the truth... however failure to execute that plan would leave you without a usable excuse.

get your parents to go away for the night, or maybe a trip. if that doesnt work, say you are going to the premier of a movie that is at midnight
Just level with them. Tell your parents that your girlfriend is kind of scared to be there alone and she requested you be there with her. At 18 they should trust you unless you gave them a reason not to.

tell them that your going to some college meeting, and then theres gunna be a party where your gunna meet some new college freshmans. and theyll probably understand that college parties last liike all night !

Say your going camping out wit some guy friends.
Don't lie to your parents kid. Respect their wishes as long as they are allowing you to live in their house, You will be off to college soon, dont risk breaking the trust over this issue, it just isn't worth it.
Make up on a computer a pretend trip that last all of those days so you could spend the whole time with the girl. Make it like a tour of the college or something like that. Use your imagination, the more facts you have the more plausible it seems. Also make sure it is something that your parents wouldn't want to do and something that would be something that isn't expensive.
honestly i think you should be honest with them (never know what they'll say 'till you ask), don't say when though, just ask if it would be o.k. if you did. and also explain to them that if they don't trust you, then how will they trust you for college...or something along those lines. best of luck.
based on my experience when i was in high school i would:



-sneak out



-if i was really desperate get someone with a deep voice talk to my parents on the phone and convince my parents I'm with them.



-If your driving home from somewhere far late @ night, call your parents and say I am too sleepy to drive I'm going to stay at a motel.



-say your going to help out a friend who's car broke down and say you spent the night at a friend's house because you were sleepy



**well all this isn't recommended these are just ideas if you are desperate,unfortunately the only way out is to lie or sneak out. good luck!
Three things come to mind:

First, your girlfriend is responsible to the people she's house-sitting for to follow their rules while she's there. You need to make sure that she's even allowed to have visitors before you think of going over there.

Secondly, if you have to lie to anyone about where you're going, then you're not ready to do it. It's not necessarily about sex - everyone knows you could do that in a car as easily as the house where she's staying. It's about trust and respect. (And although you probably won't believe it, your parents were your age once %26amp; the answer they gave you reflects that)

Lastly, if you respect your girlfriend at all you won't put her in a position to have to lie for you if anyone asks where you were.
You're 18 years old, do whatever the heck you want. Just go out and say you'll be home tomorrow. Go have sex too, you're 18 not 8.
