Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?

I love One Night with the King. I admit, I cried like a baby when she burst into the throne room and the king caught the sword meant to behead her because he loved her. *sniff sniff* It's 100% religous but it is one of the most beautifully made movies I have ever seen. Anyone else have one?Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless? The Ten Commandments

I like classic movies.Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?
Monty Python's Life of Brian...

Favorite punchline:

"Biggus has a wife, yeah..."Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?star trek the final frontier.
What Dreams May ComeNon-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?I still love The Song of Bernadette.... classic movie.Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?
Oh, God!

Love George Burns.

Love that line, "God doesn't care about religion."
I like "What Dreams May Come" as well as "The Nativity Story," "The Passion of the Christ," and "One Night with the King." I also like "The Silver Chalice" because the actor playing Luke was just so...wow. :)Non-Christian: is there a Christian or faith based movie that you love regardless?
the ten commandments. because its hilarious
The Matrix series.
The Mists of Avalon
The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston and Yul Brynner.
I liked passion of the christ...
Well, no one believes me when I say it, but The Exorcist. It is a terrifying film for sure, but has a very nice spiritual element and is very powerful.
I love the startek series when Q enters the stage.
I loved Amazing Grace
i have to agree with Road Horse and go with Life Of Brian

I'm also a huge fan of The Chronicles of Narnia (movie and book) which has strong religious undertones.
Yentl. It's a 3 Kleenex story.
"Jesus" with Jeremy Sisto
I am sure there probably is, but I can't think of a movie that is both serious and faith based off the top of my head.

However, there are two movies that sort of fit the bill.

There is a scene in Amistad where Djimon Housou is telling someone (possibly Anthony Hopkins' character) about the Bible based on the pictures and I love that scene. It is so beautiful. It actually brings tears to my eyes because his perception of Christianity is so pure and lovely. Though the movie is not Christian or faith based. But I love that scene.

Then, even though this movie doesn't portray Christianity very well, I love the movie Frailty with Bill Paxton. Even though it's God Fearing gone very wrong, you are supposed to believe the characters are actually receiving messages from God. But they aren't positive messages - at least not what I would consider positive messages. It's a very good movie though.
I have to second Chovani and go with Yentl; one of my top three all time favorite movies. A beautiful mix of religion, traditional themes, feminism and Mandy Patinkin with long hair, Yum!
not a movie but I love a christian band called Petra
they aren't overtly religious, but do require at least the suspension of disbelief, but 'city of angels' and 'heart and souls' are two of my favorite movies.
One night with the king is not religious. Any movie could be considered 'religious'. I could say the Mummy movies are religious.

I like movies based on their storyline, not hidden underlying meanings that people strain to see. I thought Meet the Spartans was awesome, last night.
