Who thinks Artificial Intelligent chess spoils the game itself? its not even true artificial intelligence?

it takes months to design or even years to design a computer program capable of competing with humans in chess. All of this work has allowed people to take advantage of computer chess programs to cheat online against real unaided players thus spoiling the game for legitimate players.



and why do people brag on about how noone can compete with Hydra or Chessmaster or Shredder?



They were designed by a TEAM OF HUMANS AND GRANDMASTERS SO HOW IS THAT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE??? in a 15 minute timed game against Hydra... Hydra is actually playing a game which took 5000 hours to create by a team of people. How is this fair for someone without a team of GMs helping them?



Also if Hydra was so intelligent... how would it respond to my 1.e4 if I bring a sledgehammer to use on the hard drive? it cannot grow arms to attack me.. nice Artificial Intelligence there.



and another story I like to share happened in Warcraft #1 the original



I started off with less resources against the almighty AI Computer opponent. Our land was separated by 2 bridges... I loaded up one bridge with archers closest to the Artificial Intelligent enemy (lol)

I sent in 1 footman into the enemy town and it lured every single orc to attack my lone footman. I ran up to the bridge which had a blockade of archers guarding it.



One by one the orcs ran up there and got blasted by 200 different arrows haha.



Meanwhile on the other bridge I sent in a few battered footmen to invade their uninhabited town while their whole army was battling the archers at the bridge. My casualties were 0... computer about 35 orcs dead yet they had more resources than me!



How is that artificial intelligence? I trashed the computer big time even with handicaps lol.. I could beat any computer opponent in any strategy role playing game provided I'm not handicapped to the extreme.



Artificial intelligence is lame and does not exist without human input.

So why do idiots think AI is superior than humans when its human who create the AI itself?Who thinks Artificial Intelligent chess spoils the game itself? its not even true artificial intelligence?
man, whats your IQ? a 3 year old can tell what a AI is and how it is Createed. By the way its not that easy to cheat online.

If you want to avoid playing a computer, my suggestion is to play in chess tournaments.
