My brother turned the computer off for one night and now its messed up! HELP!?

Usually we don't shut it off, once in a while we do. Nothing ever goes wrong. But for some reason when he turned it on it wouldn't log into the regular profile. Then when I went on Control Panel%26gt;User Accounts it said the Account we use wasn't there. However when I log into the computer it says that it is logging me into a temporary account and once I restart the computer any changes will be erased. I was wondering if any of the files were there so I searched my music, photos and other things they came up. I don't have a back up hard drive so I can't back anything up (although I'd love too!)

How do I get back to my original account?

How can I fix this?

How/Why did this happen in the first place? My brother turned the computer off for one night and now its messed up! spunds like he screwed it up some how, need more info.

however, you can't delete all the accounts, there has to be at least one admin account, and if you don't see it, if you either start in safe mode, or at first start up you press crtl+alt+del twice, this will bring up "THE admin" account, and since moost people don't password protect this you should be able to get in and restore things using system restore. My brother turned the computer off for one night and now its messed up! HELP!?You can't "get back" your account if it's gone. Even if you create another account with the same login and password, it's a different account. But the administrator login can access everyone's files.
