It is physical attraction at first sight. Love is a deep feeling that takes time to grow. Besides, you cannot instantly know someone's personality in a matter of seconds.

I don't know about true Love at first sight but I do know that True Love exists. I met someone on line and we talked for about 4 months. We grew very close and I made the decision to drive over 600 miles to meet him in person. Once we met and spent some time together we realized that we wanted more than anything to be together. He has told me that he loves me and I Love him to. We can't imagine not being together. We still live very far apart and he is going to be away for work for a couple of months but we have already made plans to be together when we can and eventually next year, I will be moving to where he is. I think that talking and getting to know one another so well may have played a HUGE part of our falling in Love so quickly.Is true love at first sight even real?I didn't think so. I always figured love and a strong relationship to be products of hard work and devotion. To a large part, I was right. No relationship can work in the long term without that effort. However, I met this girl who turned this notion on its head.
From the moment I saw her, I knew that I'd do anything just to make her smile. It wasn't lust. I am familiar with that feeling. It was something more. It made no sense to me at the time and still doesn't. Love is cray like that. It is irrational, illogical, and just down right nuts. The thing is, I have never been happier than when we are together. She feels the same way as I do which just blows my mind. The first time we met, we just couldn't leave each others side and just stayed together until the early hours of the morning talking.
So in the end, I who did not believe in love at first sight, succumbed to it. She is not what I normally would describe as 'my type' either but is simply amazing. You have to appreciate the beautiful irony of it all.
I don't believe a person can instantly fall in love with another person after seeing them once. Love has to grow. Instant "love" is really just lust/infatuation. It is based on sight after all. You wouldn't know anything about the person.
