but the king ant lost why?



i had my king a bishops both rooks and 3 pawns and he only had a king why did he win?Beginner to chess question
This is because when the opponent only has a king left you have so many moves to get check mate, if you don't then it is a draw or in some cases you lose, i guess you lost. This is assuming they did not get you in check mate before they lost the last piece before the king.

i simulated the board using your information, there is no way you lost, UNLESS you accidentally 'resigned'. In normal manual games you do this by knocking over your own king, Did you resign your king?Beginner to chess question
You should check to see if you were playing with a time control. Letting your time expire is just about the only legal way to lose when your opponent is down to a bare King.Beginner to chess question
dont know. what site did you play on. Even if you lost on time it is still a draw.
