No one knows who the actual "inventor" of chess was, or if it was invented by one person or several people over time. It does seem to have originated in India....but it's all speculation.
Chess masters can defeat most commercial software, even if the program plays under its most powerful settings.
Deep Blue was the computer that defeated Kasparov in a six game match..now Rybka is destroying even grandmasters.
If you're trouncing a computer program, then it's probably because it's not using its most powerful settings which, on a good commercial program like Fritz, can beat 95+% of the people in the world who play chess.
lol, it does look like Orbison!
Most software shows a big difference between "intermediate" and "expert" settings.

Chess game?Chess originated in India, and its not known who first invented it. From there it was played in Persia, which lead to it spreading out to the rest of the world.
Wikipedia has a pretty good section dedicated to the history of chess, you can check it out here:

it originated in India and no country has a 100% patent claim on it.
if u buy a chess program, the odds of it winning u would be 100%. the reason is because the program is programmed to win the game frm wadever the position on the chessboard.
obviously, it is impossible to win a chess program. the only human ever who won a chess program was gary kasparov. he played a unique game which the computer did not have any variations to play. it could only churn out random moves.Chess game?
a persian king made it
he enjoyed war a lot so he made a war game without people getting hurt
clever huh?
