Where can I download a free chess program? Nobody will play against me, so I want to verse a computer?

OK, so I used to play chess a few years ago when I was in primary school (im 13 now and in high school) and I was pretty good, but not exactly great. Nobody wants to have a game with me, my mum does not know how to play, my mates want to play video games more (so do I although...) and my dad is too busy.



So, are there any programs I can download for free so that I can play against an AI or CPU?

Years ago I always went on msn games to a place called zone. It had real players and I hardly ever had to wait on people when it was there turn.



Not sure if the site still exists or if its even a good site for gaming anymore but backa few years ago it was a great site to just play a game of chess with someone and chat. Well depending on the type of computer you have they usually come installed with some games and one of them should be chess. It is usually found under your [all programs] [games] or [accessories] some where in those two. With this you can play a cpu.
