Should I stop beating my wife?

Okay here's the deal I've been playing chess ever since I was 8 years old. My dad taught me how to play and made me enter tournaments. At first i hated it but it grew on me fast and I devoted myself to it and became a very solid chess player I'm 22 years old now and I've been trying to teach my wife how to play chess. I help her train on Internet chess against the computer. And I've played against her myself 3 times and I won every match convincingly. I can tell she's starting to get frustrated and doesn't really wan tto play anymore cause she can't beat me and she's very competitive. Should I just let her beat me a few times to renew her interest and passion for chess?Should I stop beating my wife?
LOL... great tagline!

Should I stop beating my wife?
Is it that she is competitive or that she doesn't like the game?

I'm a born competitor myself but chess bores she **** out of me! I'd rather go to work or have someone poke me in the eye/
I thought you meant physically abuse your wife! Then, I read the question.

I get really mad when my husband "lets me win". I hate it more than losing.Should I stop beating my wife?
no, if she cant beat you thats just the way it is. truth is better than lies.
let her win once.
Let her beat you at soduko or something else..we all have our weakness and strengths..
Don't let her beat you a few times because that would be obvious. Instead, let her win once and see her reaction. Hug her, congratulate her, and look like you've just been blown away. Wives love it when their husband says "How did you do that?" But then beat her 2-3 times depending on her reactions to your next games, and then let her win again. Make absolutely sure that you put on a good performance. If you screw up, chances are that she will get really aggravated, tell you to play her at your best, and then throw a fit when she loses. Good luck, If you have anymore questions, feel free to email me at Richard.Newford@yahoo.com. Thank you.
Honestly, women are no different then men on this subject.

My husband and I compromise - when we play x box together I do a part and well when I get to the really hard stuff he plays that part. when we play a board game we all play our best.

I am not going outside to change my windshield wipers when I know that he loves doing those kinds of things for me. However I know that he likes Cinnamon rolls and so I make enough that there are plenty in the freezer or when I get frustrated cause I am trying to do something he doesn't just come over and take over he waits till I get fed up on trying and call him to fix the problem.

When it comes to board games well anything for that matter game or not. There are things he is just better at doing. There are somethings that he likes doing but I don't really care for so I use that time to go do other things or take some me time.

For me I guess it comes down to - wither or not you want to lie to your wife wither its about winning a game she isn't really winning or anything for that matter. Why not play a game together that she is into - Yahtzee where you both have a chance on winning and you have not already perfected the game.
