i play chess badly.

like most women i do not play strategically. yes there are exceptions, but most women can only play one or two moves at a time, we do not think ahead to the end of the game.
I play chess and enjoy the game. Most women won't focus on trying to learn the rules long enough to learn how to play. Notice I did say most not all women. I've tried to teach a few and they just couldn't seem to put their minds to learning the game.Do u play chess?

It's been a good while, because I have no one to do chess with.

My father taught me it, growing up. My dad was the type I got to play with him. I didn't get to do games with my mother except for when she used to dry her hair with a soft bonnet dryer, she would do solitaire with me, and, a couple times as a teen taught my bro and I Bid Whist.

My father would always beat me, and there was only one stale mate. I'm sure my father would still do chess, but as an adult, I never really asked him to do games with me except bowling, darts, and billiards. Plus, I'm nearly 300 miles from him now.

I cannot wait until my child is 4 years older or so, so I can teach chess.Do u play chess?

I play on FICS (free internet chess server)... I have a rating of around 1600. In real life I have a BCF of 113. Chess is awesome.



There truly are barely any women who play. I think it's because women are supposed to have worse spatial awareness (for picturing future positions). Also social factors. Would you like to be the only women surrounded by middle aged men? Same reason less young people play it, it's not cool to be in a chess club? Screw cool.
Yes I do play Chess and I do know many women who also play chess - to a very high standard.
