Would you play intentionally against a poker bot?

Say...if a poker website offers to play against the house - that is...to play against a pokerbot - would you play then? Computers are bulletproof when it comes to chess playing - but how about poker? And...do you think this is a good business idea for such website to be created...or...it's the worst idea?

10x!

and....happy new year!Would you play intentionally against a poker bot?
Worst.

It's bad enough the way some people suspect the cards aren't random on a poker website... now I'm going to play against the computer for real money and have no problem when the computer sucks out on a huge pot?

Guess again.

Besides, if people don't have a problem with the cards, and the deal is legit, what happens when people figure out how to beat it? They'll break the bank. Unless you can program the bot to know how to quit when it's behind, you'll get crushed.
Absolutely. I would love the challenge. There are many bots in the online poker world at the moment and it is not difficult to find one if you want to try playing against a bot.

I think it would be a very close battle. It would be very similar to chess in that professional poker players would destroy the bot in the early stages of it's development, but then it would become very close.

Eventually the bot would have the advantage, because it will be able to calculate the opponents ranges more exactly using VPIP PFR etc and play optimal unexploitable poker.

The onus would then lie on the human opponent to play outside normal ranges in order to overcome this mathematical disadvantages.Would you play intentionally against a poker bot?
Interesting question. As far as I know there are bots out there in poker games you play in random gaming sites (so not on casino) but there you never play for real money.

I'm not sure how comfortable I would be playing against a bot, as I am not a great poker player. I think that real good players have no problem beating a bot though.
I would play a bot anytime, at this moment there are no bots that are good enough to beat thinking players.Would you play intentionally against a poker bot?
Not a Good Idea idea your playing for real money
