Does Yahoo Chess offer a chance to play against your computers instead of against other people?

If you want to play against your computer, why do you need Yahoo chess?



I must be missing something here...Does Yahoo Chess offer a chance to play against your computers instead of against other people?
If you are looking to play against a computer to improve your chess game, I recommend Chessmaster. Last version I knew of was Chessmaster 10.
