Your problem is that you don't understand how to checkmate effectively. You are winding up in a stalemate. There is a very simple technique for checkmating when you have either rook %26amp; queen, 2 queens or 2 rooks. On whatever row the opposing king is on, you take queen #1 and move it to the row ahead of him, but all the way on one side of the board (farthest from the enemy king) so that it draws an imaginary line all way across the board. So suppose the king is on the 6th row counting from your side of the board. You put queen #1 on the 5th row. Now the opposing king cannot cross your imaginary line without getting into check. If the enemy king moves back one row, you just move queen #1 one row further down. So if the king was on row 6 and your queen was on row 5 and the king moves to row 7, you just move your queen to row 6. If the king moves sideways, you then move queen #2 onto his row, putting him in check. Now he must move backwards one row. When that happens, you move queen #1 onto the row with king and check him again. Now the king has to move backwards again. And you just keep doing this over and over until the king is checkmated. Here's how it's done with 2 rooks, it's actually a bit easier as it is harder to produce a stalemate - http://www.chesscorner.com/tutorial/basi鈥?/a>
You can't win because you have two queens and his king cannot make another move involving in a stalemate. You can always learn off chess.com and find out many more strategies for checkmate.Playing chess, i can't win! so close! please help!?
the king is suppose to be attacked on that square and also will be attacked on adjacent squares, then it would be a checkmate
